Terms of service

The service

Arlo builds a knowledge base from your company's content and uses it to answer, qualify and follow up with your customers across the channels you connect. It is currently in private beta: features may change, and access is at our discretion.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity in your workspace.
• You must be authorised to connect each channel and account you add to Arlo.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your content and your customers

You own what you upload and the conversations in your workspace. You give us permission to process it only to run Arlo for you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message your contacts and for telling them, where required, that replies may be written by an AI assistant.

AI replies

Arlo's answers are generated by AI models from your knowledge base and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important, keep your knowledge base accurate, and use the approval and hand-off settings that suit your business. You remain responsible for what is sent to your customers in your name.

Acceptable use

Do not use Arlo to:

• send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or anything illegal, deceptive or harassing;
• break the rules of a connected platform (Google, Microsoft, Meta, WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok);
• process data you are not allowed to, or attempt to reach another workspace's data;
• interfere with, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Third-party platforms

Channels are provided by their owners under their own terms. If a platform changes or withdraws access, the matching Arlo feature may stop working, and we are not responsible for that platform.

Fees

The beta is free unless we agree otherwise in writing. We will give notice before any paid plan applies to you.

Ending

You can stop using Arlo and ask us to delete your data at any time — see data deletion. We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice.

Disclaimer and liability

Arlo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we will update the date above and tell account holders by email.
